Renewable Energy

Wind

Wind Turbines

Wind Farm technology has become a major factor in cutting CO2 emissions in an attempt to combat global warming. Our first major land negotiation started with the Scout Moor Wind Farm. This was soon followed by the land and lease negotiations on Crook Hill Wind Farm, Todmorden Wind Farm and Reaps Moss.

Other involvement in proposed wind farms include: Rawtenstall, Gorpley Moor, Oswaldtwistle

Moor and Rooley Moor and these have amounted over 250 mega watt to date.

Solar

Solar farms are a relatively new venture for Crossley Renewables. With solar panels becoming increasingly efficient, solar is quickly becoming the UK's preferred form of green energy production. We are looking to lease appropriate sites across the UK for Solar development, maximising landowners land to generate significant income without risk for up to 25 years.

Battery Storage

Battery storage is a way that the excess power being produced can be stored during low use times and released back into the grid when it is needed during peak times.

We have been involved in securing over 20 sites across England and Scotland.

Green Gas

Green Gas offers a cleaner, eco-friendly alternative to traditional energy sources, providing efficient heating and power for your home. Unlike natural gas, which is extracted from the ground, green gas is man-made. It is obtained by purifying obtained from the transformation of organic matter by bacteria. Green gas is therefore a renewable, sustainable energy that can be used in exactly the same way as natural gas.

Hydro

Hydroelectric energy, also called hydroelectric power or hydroelectricity, is a form of energy that harnesses the power of water in motion—such as water flowing over a waterfall—to generate electricity. No matter the size of river you own, Hydro could be an option for you.

Domestic Renewables

Solar Panels on Roof

Go green and start saving money with domestic renewable energy to heat your house or even power your entire home, say goodbye to monthly energy bills. We have been actively involved in most types of domestic renewable technology. These include; Biomass Boilers, Ground Heat Source, Water Turbines and small personal wind turbine installations up to 10kw.

Ground Heat Source

Ground source heat is a pipe buried in your garden that circulates a liquid, Heat from the ground is absorbed into the fluid and then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump. Free underfloor heating!

Solar Panels

Solar panel technology is becoming more and more efficient, producing large amounts of energy for your home even in cloudy conditions. Just like ground heat source, it will heat your house throughout, using the power of the sun. All you need is a roof to mount them.

Home Wind Turbines

Wind energy can be a great option. Not only could a wind turbine power your entire home, but you could even sell that energy back to the Grid. Meaning that you are not just saving money but making it! You will need the land and wind (of course).

Biomass Heating

Using wood to heat your house in place of fossil fuels helps prevent long-term climate change, as wood is a sustainable source of fuel. If you are in a property that is off the grid where oil and gas is not readily available, this is a fantastic option for you.

Water Tubines

If you live next to a river, you could harness its energy and build a Hydro turbine. Not only will this allow you to provide energy for your house but if the river head and water capacity is large enough, you may be able to sell energy back to the grid and increase your income further.

Are you a landowner or asset manager looking to optimise your land?
Man in Farm

Whether you have half an acre or 100 hectares, there could be potential to establish a renewable energy project on your land for a greener future whilst generating significant financial revenue. Get in touch and let us conduct a full site assessment. We would be more than happy to advise you on your energy options and what the next steps are. to establish a new partnership with you for a greener future while maximizing the potential returns on your valuable land
