Identification and onboarding 

Allow us to handle the groundwork. From initiating contact with landowners to conducting thorough and productive conversations, we ensure that every aspect of land acquisition is meticulously addressed. At this stage we focus on: 

• The appraisal and securing of suitable renewable energy development opportunities that meet your businesses’s strategy.

• Conducting meetings with landowners and agents to discuss site availability with a view to securing Letters of Authority and Exclusivity rights.

• Representing your company professionally in community settings and in front of large landowners or community groups. 

• Aiming to directly engage landowners through letters, calls and in person visits to determine interest in project participation, we leave no stone unturned. 

• Engaging with local communities, landowners, and other stakeholders to build positive relationships and address any concerns related to the renewable energy projects.

• We have the capacity to deal with many sites and locations for your projects allowing to leverage our resources to find the best team to manage your specific project. 

Acquisition and Negotiation 

Once in discussions with our interested landowners, using our personal approach we enter negotiations to achieve competitive and fair rates. Our dedication to communication and trust ensures that your project is feasible whilst maintaining great relationships with landowners. We focus on: 

• Assisting our developers with adapting, drafting and preparing draft framework contracts for landowners, ensuring all parties are happy and comfortable before signing.

• Securing with our landowner Letter of Authority and Exclusivity rights.

• We go into depth on the land available, and marking out exactly the areas our landowners would like to lease or sell. 

• Negotiating to secure Heads of Terms on prospective development sites to ensure fair and legally sound transactions.

• Once Heads of Terms are signed we support the drafting of preliminary land agreements and purchase or lease agreements. 

• Working with legal teams to deliver land options, lease agreements and associated    agreements for all new solar, wind fand battery opportunities.

• Coordinating with your company’s electrical engineering team to secure connection to the local grid network.

• Coordinating with your company’s engineering and construction teams to conduct constructability due diligence.

• Supporting the preparation of planning applications to local planning authorities, to progress applications.

• Managing the roadmap to ensure project milestones are hit.

Co-ordination and project management 

Once contracts are signed, we remain on hand throughout the planning process to keep all parties informed every step of the way; building favourable relationships between you and the landowners to ensure clear communication and help resolve issues throughout the relationship. In this stage we focus on: 

• Managing the communication with landowners, tenants, and developers. Ensuring all parties are happy, kept in the loop and up to date. 

• We work closely with project managers, engineers, environmental specialists, and legal teams to ensure coordinated and efficient project progression.

• Throughout the project we are on hand for any conflict resolution to address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the land acquisition process, including negotiating solutions to conflicts with landowners or other involved parties.

• Finally we can assist with preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of land transactions, negotiations, and pertinent project data.
